] It's neat how, before Mr R arrives, Jane is feeling content but in need of some meeting of minds. She reflects on being fond of Mrs Fairfax and Adele in a limited way, and clues us in on her capacity for a full-throttle love.
I particularly like that part. It seems so touching somehow, cause we (at least, I) know how she feels. Thankful, but restless. And I also like the part when she delays her entrance into the house, lingering in the garden (or something). Itīs just so understandable!...
