] This book is told by Jane Rochester, married to Mr. Rochester ten years. If they aren't tired of each other by such a time period, don't you think they never will be. Besides, Jane survived years at Gateshead and Lowood, marrige to Rochester can't be a harder trial.


I`m actually of the opinion that he would never have tired of her, even had she been his mistress, their relationship seems, for some reason, beyond that.
I have a truly hard time accepting her decision when I read the book, but oh well.
