I've always liked that -- was it -- Maria stuck up for Fanny. I think that showed how unjust Aunt Norris really was, because the girls were no more than neutral about Fanny.

Can you guys imagine Allison Steadman playing Aunt Norris in the new adaptation? Could you even bear it?
