I quite agree with you, Amy, about Aunt Norris. She is a character, like Caroline Bingley, that I just love to hate. If she were left out it would leave a great void. Lady Bertram is another character who gets my goat--so lazy, so whining, so dependent--but I don't hate her; just wouldn't be able to take very much of her at a time if I visited in that house!
