But it makes it such a wonderful moment when Jane and Helen go to Miss Temple's room, sit in front of the fire and get stuck into the seed cake. aaaaah! (It reminded me of the bit in "The Hiding Place" where Corrie Ten Boom finally gets out of Ravensbruck and has a hot bath. aaaaah!) And the mental comfort, too, of Jane being asked to defend herself against Mr B's accusations, and being believed. Nice moment.


yes, this is such a great scene. but why haven't i ever seen it on film? does anyone remember it in any of the movies?
