Jane's Hand: The Jane Austen Songbooks that was produced by VOX Classics. The order number (I believe) is VOX 7537. It is a CD that should be added to and Austen fan's musical collection. The selections, all but one, are pieces that are drawn out of her own musical handbooks in her home. The liner notes are wonderfully insightful as well!
if anyone is interested in ordering this, it is available through SamGoody/Musicland/On Cue. it is listed under Misc/Jane Austens Song for $14.99 (that may vary in different markets, but around that price.) and the reference number (X-REF) is 7889025 (this number is only for the Musicland group stores) i just ordered my copy & am very very excited to get it! i spent much time researching it (i work for Sam Goody) and was estatic when i ran across it. If you give this information to any clerk at any Musicland/Sam Goody/On Cue (Media Play too i think) they should be able to order it with no problem.
