Wow!!This book is great! I couldn't hardly stop last night... and when I woke this morning, the first thing I did was pick up the book to read a few chapters :)
It keeps surprising me with twists in the story I didn't predict... and so far I love it! I can't help but wonder though how it will all turn out... and by the looks of things now I am not very hopefull :(
Here are some thoughts I had while reading the first 12 chapters:
ch.1
Hmm kinda like Jane Eyre, only showing more emotion...
and this Tempest guy... will be trouble!
I like her bluntness and openess :)
ch.2
When she meet's Lito I had some small doubts, thinking "this is odd...Hmm?" and I'm having a bit of a hard time with the greek mythology refrences... so will have to look the names up that they keep refering to :)and when they set out for sea that first time I was so surprised! I was saying "oh no!!he's actually taking her!!"and was so relieved when it was just a test :D!

Have you ever read a Hazard of Hearts? where the hero in the story wins the heroine in a game of cards... it is really a great story that was made into a T.V. movie (with Helena Bonham-Carter) anyways that is what I thought of when Tempest "wins" Rosamond :) And I was foolish enough to think all would be well when I found out they were "married"... but I also thought "ok there is still the whole book to go through! so there is going to be more... a lot more!"
Doesn't it also remind you again of JE when he tells her he is going away just to see if she loves him? kinda mean.. :(

Man he's good at finding things!! and I love how she manages to escape :) very ingenious!

I love that she finds Lito!! but I hate that she leaves Madamoiselle Honorine... she seemed like such a nice protecter...

I'm sad that Rose and Lito part :( hopefully he will find his way back into the story :) I think she makes a good nun.. but what a tiring life after a while! I totaly trusted Father Dominic... and was for some reason suspicious of Father Ignatis... oh well for my instinct!! I was annoyed with Ignatis for following her too... little did I know! and I just loved how Tempest is found to be her confesser! It was so great! and then to find out who betrays her... not who I had thought! I felt so bad! I begin to wish that things wern't as they were and that Ignatis could marry her... for doesn't he diserve her more than Tempest? ah well... it can not be! :(
so now I go back to my reading... :) hee hee rubbing my hands together!!
