Amy -- A general yes to the question in your subject line (though I would phrase it more as "JE is a Fanny with something of a fiery temperament, who will on occasion openly express her fellings of resentment, etc...").

On your other question, Charlotte B. implied that she hadn't read any Austen novels before Dec. 1847 / Jan. 1848, after the first publication of Jane Eyre -- and there is no evidence that I know of that she read Mansfield Park at all (only P&P and Emma).
