] Ann- Divorce did exist in this period in time....I do believe that was the whole reason in creating the Anglican church to begin with.

But as I said, it was only for cuckolded men. A woman could not get a divorce, and a man could only get one if his wife could be proven to have cheated on him. It was also a very expensive proposition and required an act of parliment to get one. There were literally only a handful of them granted in this era.
