As a bio major, I heartily agree!

] Oh and H.C Inbreeding can very harmful even if it is legal. Inbreeding whether through past generations or whatever is the cause for Down Syndrome, Heart Disorders, Hemophelia, Infertility, Depression, BiPolar Illness, Schizophrenia, and numerous others. Sharing 1/8 of your genes is alot and it may not seem like it. DNA controls so much in someones body that scientists do not know the extent of it even now. DNA controls ribosomes, which control proteins, which form in specialized cells like muscle, skin, hair, and organs- proteins also involve enzymes and there is not a chemical reaction in any organism whether singled celled or containing trillions of cells that is not controlled by enzymes. If I were any of you....stay as far away from your family in marrying as you can. I wouldn't even marry my third cousin.
] :-) See I did learn something in biology!!!
I have to agree with that. This is the reason marriages between siblings were taboo in primitive societies. In genetics that I am taking right now, all the interesting case histories of deseases usually come from interbreeding.
Also look at Amish and other groups with a small gene pool. They have a higher rate of genetic deseases (And I am not even mentioning the alleles that are lethal in a homozygote)
