My Dear Erroneous Bertramites,
(please forgive my poor spelling)
Tsk, tsk, tsk. I am sorry to say that we seem to have a majority of Bertramites here. We "C'ites" (the exact new term escapes me :)) are a misunderstood and persecuted minority.
I will repeat the original and ever-important message of Crawfordism: Fanny and Edmund had been raised as brother and sister. There could never be romantic love between them. Even Aunt Norris predicted it, and this is the only point where I tend to agree with her. "Cousins in love" is not a likely occurance where the two parties have been raised together. I do not support Mary Crawford in any way, shape or form. To my mind, she is the Wickam in MP.
For those of you who claim that "a tiger does not change its stripes", how could you forget P&P? Do you think that Darcy went back to being vain and selfish after he married Elizabeth? Of caurse not. Nor would Henry return to womanizing. Do you think Marianne Dashwood began publically expressing her most personal emotions after her marriage to Brandon??
PAI ! ! !
HENRY IS INNOCENT! ! !
EDMUND IS SPINELESS! ! ! !
(by the way, I do not have the "Crawford wool" pulled over my eyes! Bertramites have the Edmund wool! Do you really believe that "oh so perfect" front?)
Hurry up, Nora! I eagerly await part V!
