] I'm still a Bertramite :) but I'm glad someone has finally cleared up that 1st cousin bit. I didn't find it strange either.

] I was wondering, doesn't 'Bertramite' apply to Edmund *and* Fanny? That's what I'm for, not just Edmund. Because after being married her name is Fanny Bertram, so it's does go for her too.

________

Yes. That's exactly what I had in mind when I first brought this up. I used the word "Bertramite", for lack of a better term, to describe my support for Fanny and Edmund. I must say that I am more enthusiastic for Fanny than I am for Edmund. I do like Edmund, but I also got a little frustrated with him that he didn't wake up and notice Mary's weakness and Fanny's strength sooner than he actually did.

I must say that I reallly like H.C.'s initial "Fannyite" post very much (although I still prefer to call myself a Bertramite, since I like both Fanny and Edmund and think they belong together). I think he had it just right about what Fanny is looking for, and that Henry is the last person on Earth who could give that to her.
