The term "Bertramite" would seem to imply active support for and partizanship for Edmund Bertram, which is not my own position. I call myself a a "Fannyite", because I am a Fanny Price partisan.
My premises are:

1. I want Fanny to have what's best for her.
   
2. Henry Crawford is a jerk, who is all wrong for Fanny. (I personally think that he should hook up with Lady Susan! ).
   
3. Fanny Price's most pressing need is not necessarily for a passionate romance; what she really needs is someone who will really understand her and not gratuitously cause her pain, giving her an environment in which she can build up her battered confidence and self-respect...

Of course, all this is just a stepping-stone on the way to her ultimate destiny --
