Julia,
I love the way you put it, because with the intense rise in Bertramite attacks....it seems we have to defend our Henry-Fanny fantasy more and more.
I remember a certain part of the book where he is telling his sister about how he wants Fanny to be his next victim, and then it says that something just happened. He was truely in love. He honestly loved her, and wanted to marry her (something that he had never wanted to do before). It brought me back to Pride and Prejudice where the same thing happened to Darcy. That is what makes me love P&P. Both men were out to not love a women and even to harm them. Then....like it very often happens in real life.....Love just happens.
That kind of love does not drive a man to an affair!!
PAI PAI PAI PAI
I wouldn't marry my brother or my first cousin...even if he treated me like a queen and kissed the ground I walked on (which in writing this I am getting a repulsive queasy feeling about envisioning it....YUCK)
Julia.....I could hardly find Part IV in the mass of writings, and I am afraid that many Crawforites might have missed it. Let's spread the word that it's there....It's a very important part!! :-)
