Mary is fun, lively, pretty, musically talented, and nice to Fanny from time to time. Fanny has her great qualities (but I will stay out of trouble by not comparing her point-to-point with Mary), but she's more like a sister to Edmund. So it's a bit like Emma, Knightley, and Frank.
