] Emma T's S&S was the perfect example. It had little of the text in it, but it was an excellent adaptation of the novel none the less. It captured the spirit and the meaning of the book, even though much of it was the creation of Thompson. Emma2 does the same thing. I think it captures the flavor of the text very well, but Emma3 less so. Just because Emma3 uses more of the text, does not mean to me that it must be better.
] If I want a textually accurate version, I'll read the book! That's the best version anyway.
