] You can think whatever you want, but most Emma3 fans (I remember Susan and Kathleen reaching this conclusion months ago) have claimed to prefer it because it is more "literary" (and this is my own term) - closer to the book and time period in most literal departments. I will grant you all a preference for mood, but I don't think "inventive" fits Emma3 in the same way it suits Emma2, which is a completely different - and further-out - take than Emma1 or 3. "Creatively orthodox" is more on the mark.
