Ha, Ha! You are absoultely right! It would seem that she could not keep her fingers on the keys, especially since those looked to be satin evening gloves she was wearing. I believe that Gwyneth Paltrow was not playing the piano in the movie either, and it might have been just a small detail that the director forgot about.
