] I give e3 a definite edge - a jewel of a little story, with a glowing beckinsale at the center.

] You know, I've met a lot of guys recently who are really into Kate Beckinsale for some reason. Is this a new thing, or a cult tendency that's just resurfaced?

] BTW, Greg, thanks for the greeting on the P&P2 board...

________

wish you had more takers on this question, kali, i haven't seen much male commentary on kb, and am interested. i'd just observe that the emma3 producers apparently thought that "hunky" frank churchill might be turned on by her.
my personal view:
i won't be crass enough to detail what i like feature by feature, but just confess frankly(forebear with me please, ladies)i'd like to kiss her on the nose or pinch her rosy cheek. she's got a rare combination of looking young and innocent, yet being strong and self-assured(to the point of OVERCONFIDENCE in the character of emma). i suppose that makes a man who's older(like knightley and myself) feel that he can have his sexual feelings toward her without being in danger of taking advantage of her. i.e., kb definitely makes me feel that she's the one in control(as in emma2 having the world by the tail in the opening sequence). some here have been embarrassed by the father/daughter feeling in emma3; ironically, i can picture a mother/son relationship in the actual marriage(she'll keep ms in-tow)!
gwyneth paltrow obviously has some hunky admirers of her own, but to me she looks ordinary and not as pinchable as kb.
