I have often thought about that matter too, Lori. I think, in Mr Knightley's case, he would not be a virgin, considering his age. With Frank Churchill, though, i'm not sure. He is only supposed to be "three-and-twenty", so chances are he may still be one. But, of course, I'm no historian either, so I know but little of those ways of the real world in the 1800's!
