] ...therefore, Miss Emma Woodhouse has ordered me to ask you...." what are your most/least favorite scenes/lines from the movie(s) or book?

________

Favourite lines from the book:

Mrs Elton had a fortune "of so many thousands as would always be called ten"

Mr Woodhouse: "The sooner every party breaks up, the better."

Frank Churchill "was accused of having a delightful voice, and a perfect knowledge of music; which was properly denied; and that he knew nothing of the matter, and had no voice at all, roundly asserted."

Mr Knightley seemed to be trying not to smile; and succeeded without difficulty, upon Mrs Elton's beginning to talk to him.

Emma must submit to stand second to Mrs Elton, though she had always considered the ball as peculiarly for her. It was almost enough to make her think of marrying.

"I cannot make speeches, Emma:" - he soon resumed; and in a tone of such sincere, decided, intelligible tenderness as was tolerably convincing.

Hope I've left enough for every body else :-)
