] Which ones have you read? I've only read "Presumption" and "Eliza's Daughter." I thought both of them were pretty bad but I'm probably being unfair to the authors. I think it would be tremendously difficult to duplicate JA's brilliance (although I've always wished I could). I always pick up anything that claims to be a JA wannabe (proving that the marketing ploy is, indeed, an effective one) but I always get disappointed by the sequels. The only two I've read seem to think that using a phrase or two of hers is the same thing as adopting her style. I've not seen it done with any degree of perfection anywhere. Are there sequels out there that are decent?

I'm almost finished with a sequel to Pride and Prejudice called "Pemberley or Pride and Prejudice Continued" by Emma Tennant. I think it's actually quite good. It explores the marriage between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. I can't wait to see how it ends. I also found "Jane Fairfax" by Joan Aiken. Haven't read it yet but it's mainly about Jane from the time she was a child to how we see her in "Emma." Sounds interesting.
