] ] ladies, ladies, i'm having a little difficulty following this thread. is jn really a great actor or do i just need to direct you to the drooling pond? must say I didn't exactly notice an acting phenomenon there, but i promise to look carefully next time i rent the flick.

Greg -- I must agree that his techniqu is fabulous. His physical embodiment of this character is great. Do you completely disagree? I would be interested in a more objective view. A man that I saw the fiom with was disgusted by JN's too-good-looks, and couldn't appreciate his acting for that reason. Said he was "fine". Anyway, I was always in love with KNightly as a teenager, and my only reservation with Jeremy was that he ssemed too young and attractive. BUt then, Jane Austen did give his age as older than jeremy -- Is Knightly nit "16 years older" than Emma? 16 + 21 = 37. Jeremy was about 33 when he did that part So yeah, he was abit young and dishy. BUt he got it right, I think.
