] ] I read the book first (about 20 times I suppose), then saw Emma2, then saw Emma1, then saw Emma3. Emma3 is my favorite, but I also like the other two. In fact, I saw Emma2 in the theater 8 times in three weeks. (I haven't purchased the video yet -- but I will when I see it for sale at a decent price.)

Of course you are right, but the video wasn't available last September. And, to be fair to me (!), I didn't see any other movies over those three weeks (or the next three, for that matter).
Glad you don't disapprove of rereading Jane Austen novels. ;-)
