________

I had the feeling that Emma wanted to be a Miss Taylor to Harriet and guide her the way Miss Taylor wanted to guide Emma. The only thing Harriet was persuaded by Emma, but Emma was not as easily presuaded by Miss Taylor. Of course Emma has the upper-hand in both instances. Also seems that Miss Taylor was pre-disposed to matchmaking herself ( Jane Fairfax and Mr. Knightley). I wonder if Mrs. Weston would take credit for her own marriage or would she include Emma?
