] They are probably refering to what we call Emma1. It is an old version from the 70-80's. Some video stores carry it.

Yeah, and it's really an awful version. The lady playing Emma looks about 35 years old and plays the role and a complete snobby wench with no redeeming character traits whatsoever. The only offset is that the guy playing Mr. Knightley looks about fifty so the age gap is maintained. If you liked this book, for the love of God, DO NOT see the old BBC version!!
