] My mother very recently saw Emma2. About thirty minutes into the movie, she turned to me and said, "You know, this sounds like Clueless." Whereupon I had to tell her that Clueless was an updated version of Emma. She spent the rest of the movie matching up characters in Emma to the characters she'd seen in Clueless, and thereby figuring out what was about to happen.

That is exactly what one of my friends did only she knew before we even started watching it that clueless was a take off of emma. So the whole movie from the very beginning she was matching them up.
