Where in the story do you think Emma should have or for that matter could have picked up on Knightly's romantic interest in her?
Knightly is the character I would most like to _______ with, (you can be as nice or nasty as you like from my point of view} but he doesn't give much hint in the story of his true feelings for Emma, at least not that I could pick up on early. Maybe that's why I like him so much more than the other leading male characters. He's written with a little different perspective. Mentor turned lover kinda thing. Abelard and Heloise like only with a happier ending. What do you think?
