Beth, your taste in men is impeccable.

Yes, Mark Strong is very pleasing. He gave Mr. Knightley a depth that I didn't find in Jeremy Northam's interpretation. Strong is mature and handsome, and believable in the role. He is lovely, isn't he?

] . The actor (as Knightley, because I've not seen him in anything else - guess I'm living in the wrong country!) is definitely attractive - he's manly, he carries himself well, he has a serious and handsome face, and he is not a guy I would say no to if he asked me on a date. He seems to me a very good Knightley.

] No doubt many people on this board will never understand.

] At the beginning of P&P2, I saw Firth and said to myself, "And they expect us to see HIM as the romantic hero???" By the end, I was totally in love. At the beginning of Emma3 (which I saw before Emma2) I saw Strong and said to myself, "And they expect us to see HIM as the romantic hero???" By the end, I was totally in love and saying Colin who??? At the beginning of Emma2, I thought Northam was drop dead gorgeous. Recently, I saw the film again and the feeling was completely gone. By the way, Mark Strong is still my favorite of the three and on my list of favorite actors. I can't explain it, but that's how life is sometimes.
