] Linda, please don't tell me you're on vacation for months and months...

Vacation is over; boo hoo hoo. This is an exceptionally busy time of the year, but I am reading, working on my Sequel Review page in addition to working at my job, volunteering and rehearsing.

I have not been able to get my hands on another Emma
sequel since the ones I reviewed. Lynn introduced me to Interlibrary Loan, so here's hoping.

Has anyone else read Aunt Celia by Jane Gillespie? The only Emma characters are Mr Weston, Frank Churhill and Jane Fairfax Churchill and Miss Bates. This leaves her little room to do much injustice to JA's characters (what a garbled sentence). I do not understand why she felt it necessary to rename Mr Weston's & Miss Taylor's daughter from Anna to Celia.
The story is pretty simple and the character development seems a little shallow to me, though they do remotely resemble JA's characters.
