A New Emma Fan

I've always loved P&P, especially when I saw A&E's production, and S&S was really good too, but I never really got around to seeing "Emma" until only last week, while visiting my aunt, who had purchased it. She was gushing over how long she had had to wait, and urged me to watch it, which I did, no additional promptings needed.
It is absolutely fabulous! It was so sweet and soo cute. I don't think Knightly is as good-lucking as Darcy, but he's so nice in a different kind of way. And the end was sooo soo sweet, when she thinks he doesn't want her to be his friend, and she says she's trying to better herself, and really in fact he wants her to be more than just a friend . . .
Sigh . . . . .
I'm going to start the novel now, and I know I'm in for a treat.
Oh, by the way I watched the old BBC version awhile after to compare, and I loved the newer version better (Knightly is totally ugly in the BBC one) but I did find things more clearer and explained more in the older one. Like about Frank Churchill and Jane Fairfax's relationship.
But anyways, I think I have gone on for long enough.
