A standard group read wouldn't be necessary...I was thinking we could all just share our thoughts on the various sequels released. This way, people will know what's kind of okay, what's bad, and what's really bad - and also where they can borrow or buy the books they think are worth a read. Also, perhaps we might want to start building a concept for a "perfect" sequel, based on what we liked and didn't like from the others.
