I just watched Emma1 again today, and was struck by something. In this version, Emma (and others) talk about Jane Fairfax being reserved before she ever makes it to Highbury. I thought her reserve was supposed to be present because she didn't want to give away the secret of the engagement, but here they make you think she is just a naturally reserved person.
I also got a kick out of the fact that they misspelled "Knightley" in the credits as "Knightly." Seems like somebody would have caught that at some point...
I still think this Mr. Woodhouse just rules -- he's wonderful!
