] are you finding laughs in e3, jj? i found it incredibly funny, and more so with repeated viewings, but in exactly the same way that i find ja's novels funny. it's like, you can find so many things in real life funny if you know how to look. it's a warm feeling of "yessss!" when i see the situations her characters get into.

I agree -- from the beginning with Mr Woodhouse's comment, "First the chickens, now Miss Taylor" to end with the comments and looks of the Eltons at the harvest supper.

] speaking of real life funny, when i bought e3 at the video store, the kid who rang it up wanted to make sure i knew i wasn't buying e2, so he innocently said, "you're aware this is the documentary version, right?". "oh yes", i replied!

LOL! I wonder what he thinks he means?
