After renting and watching Emma2 countless times, I have finally purchased a copy of Emma3 so now I can really compare the two versions. I don't want to start another Emma2 vs Emma3 war, because I like both versions. I'll admit to preferring Emma2, but I think that's more because it was presented almost as a romantic comedy, my favorite movie genre. Emma3 was more of a drama, but the more I watch it the more I like it. It's interesting how the same novel resulted in such different adaptations! I guess I'll just have to face the fact that I'm an Emma fan(atic).
