re the surrey difficulties, i had originally imagined a concrete wasteland was there(i've never been to england!), but after seeing (was it myretta's?) summer vacation report here - about box hill, and reading that e3's highbury village was in surrey, i thought, why not?
Box Hill is there, definitement...mais it is crawling with tourists, according to both the E2 and E3 folks. But hey, we could try it. And Lacock - the National Trust Village used in E3, is in Wiltshire, not not Surrey, and is close to Somersetshire.
but i guess it'd be tough to out-do the s&s landscapes.
