I just thought I'd say how wonderful I think the soundtrack is. Rachel Portman is very clever for many reasons - one of which I only realised the other day! I noticed that all of the music, even if it is for a 'sad' or 'emotional' scene (eg. Emma telling Harriet about Mr Elton etc) the music still has a bit of a light-hearted feel/sound to it, whereas the only piece of music that has a really dark, saddening tone is the end of the "Mr Knightley Returns" track. Very clever in portraying the exact feeling of the characters, wouldn't you say!?!?!?
