As far as I'm concerned, Polly Walker can do anything! I haven't seen Enchanted April but, owing to your comments, it's definitely on my video rental list. Did you see Polly Walker in Patriot Games? She played an IRA terrorist, no less! And although her character was quite sinister, she was as beautiful and radiant as ever.

I agree that Polly's enormous talents were wasted as Jane Fairfax in Emma2--in fact, I wonder if she had more scenes that wound up getting cut. In fact, Mr Knightley's being already in love with Emma was the only thing that saved him from falling for JF when she smiled so beautifully at him at the Coles. Charming!
