] ] ] I think Mr Woodhouse would definitely be more demanding, both because that's his character and because Emma and Knightley would be living with him. The Darcys could keep their distance with Mrs. Bennett, and only meet occasionally. As to who would be more irritating, I'm not sure.
] ] Mr Woodhouse may be demanding of Emma and Mr. Knightley, however, Mr. Knightley was able to visit with Mr. Woodhouse with not so much the distress that Mr. Darcy endured Mrs. Bennet. Also I don't think Mr. Woodhouse would be an embarrassment to them in public by his lack of decorum.
