] Don't take it so personally.
] That's very presumptious of you...Well, I was expressing my opinion using an actual passage from the book.
But, weren't we discussing the two adaptations, which both took liberties from the book!
Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed both adaptations and both actors' interpretations. I just think that one shouldn't be judged over the other as the screenplays, actors, directors, etc., had different ideas and goals in bringing this novel to the screen/TV.
I don't intend to be presumptious and, if you feel that I was, I do apologize. PEACE!/TRUCE!
] There is room for both portrayals, with neither one being more right or wrong than the other.
] There is nothing I would like more than to see the Emma2/Emma3 debate end. But-it never does. It reignites every now and then, only to die down under the agree to disagree motto. PLatitudes.
