Say what you wish about my Jeremy, but he is certainly good-looking!
NO arguments here Jan. And he is also a wonderfully talented actor. The director of Emma2(Hollywood???) has a name too-Doug McGrath. Another man of sense and information.
``Being a resourceful woman herself, she could create characters who were resourceful,'' McGrath observes of Austen, an author he finds compellingly contemporary. ``One of the nice things about Emma is that although her concerns are largely ones of marriage and matchmaking, her entire manner is very modern,'' he says. ``She's not the victim of anyone.''
McGrath finds a similar universality in ``Emma.'' ``What struck me about the material is that not only is it cleverly written - and it is - but it's completely contemporary,'' he says. ``It's about all that people care about and worry about today.''
