There is one thing that has always bugged me about the Westons marriage . Why isnt't Mr. Knightley there? He is obviously a good friend of both bride and
groom, yet he goes to visit his brother in London instead. My best guess is that it was a private wedding, regardless of what the movie versions show, and that only Emma and her Father were there as witnesses.
Does anyone have another opinion?
