I believe that both of the recent "Emma" releases have their merits. Emma2 has the polish of the big screen and may be an added attraction to some. I enjoyed both very much, but found Kate in Emma3 more as Jane Austen had wrote Emma's charater. I found myself not liking Kate in the beginning of the film, but by the end I had come around. I believe this is how Ms. Austin wanted readers to feel about Emma.
The let done in Emma3 came at the end, where was the wedding scene?
