I haven't been in here too long so forgive me if I'm bringing up an old topic. I was in the B. Dalton store last night and saw an audio copy of Sophy Thompson reading "Emma". To be frank (not Churchill), I was hoping it was the Jeremy Northam version!

I didn't buy it but I think I may go back and get it. Can you imagine her reading her own lines? Heeheehee...

KB!!! ;-)

________

very good points luisa. no matter what one thinks about the writing/directing of emma3 vs. emma2, will anyone argue that gwyneth paltrow's acting is in the same league as kb's? indeed, i'd say that kb's so good for someone so young that she's almost in a class by herself. gp seemed to me to be clearly straining at the accent/emotions at times, which made me feel sorry for her because it was truly a heroic and admirable performance. p.s. just got the emma2 cd; i listen to it on my computer, in my car, even on my portable player in bed at night. does that mean i've finally snapped, or does it just mean that i try not to think about emma2 at dinner, in the garden, and even when i go to bed at night? something has got to be done!
