Chawton In 1809, Mrs. Austen, Jane and Cassandra moved to Chawton, into a house provided by Jane's brother Edward.

Winchester Cathedral Jane Austen died at 8 College Street in Winchester in 1817 and is buried in Winchester Cathedral.
