St Clement's

St Clement's

The map shows the postition of the two churches that could qualify as St Clement's. JA did not specify which church was used in Pride and Prejudice, and both could quailify as they were both extant in 1796 when the book was first drafted and 1813 when it was published. The first is St Clement's Danes in the Strand and the second is St Clement's Eastcheap, by Gracechurch Street.
