I love and second so many of your ideas and theories.
I was also thinking about the arm and the eye the other day, and I absolutely agree that it's too dark and too severe, though there are people out there who have to deal with this type of injury... I think it would make Eddie too depressed and I'm not sure there'll be enough time to make him recover from it.
I'm looking forward to meeting Blanche -- so close now, yay! I hope they include the parties and the games they played in the book.
I also want to see Jane and Eddie happy at least for some time. They deserve it and we deserve it. And it's there in the book. Jane really was happy for some time after their engagement, save for some anxiety.
I think Jane's inheritance and family will be replaced by a great job or study programme with scholarship and Jane will probably make close friends. If she had any family left, there would be a way to contact them nowadays.
I don't need kisses, but I like when lovers bump their heads together. Many period romance adaptations have done it, and I absolutely love it.
I also look forward to Jane's visit at the Reeds. Suicide in fiction somehow fascinates me, even though it's such a dark topic. I wonder if they leave it in, or if they just make the Reeds ruined financially and have John dropped out of school.
I will probably expand on my post. I must be running now and I have so much to add... :-) Oh, and they should definitely tweet more, ideally add a photo now and then.
