I know you mean the combining of Henry VIII's sisters, right? That was hard to forgive. My sense was that after the outcry associated with the earlier season's inaccuracies, The Tudors got better. But his 3 - 6th marriages didn't last as long as the earlier ones, so less opportunities to screw it up.
There was a David Starkey special about the Lancasters and Yorks on the other day and I was glad to watch it. Like you, I know much more about The Tudors. Good non-fiction recommendations on the period of mid to late 15th century would be welcome at the Library board.
