forward Matthew's plans for DA. I believe he'll be at Downton for a long time and I'm eager to see what JF has in store for Tom.

The business with Edna the maid really highlighted the class system to me. The upstairs and downstairs folks came to accept Tom as Sybil's husband, but the newcomer downstairs brought all her lower-class perceptions with her in believing herself his equal. I'm so happy Mrs. Hughes saw what was happening and settled the matter.

I also agree with those who say JF took his revenge on Dan Stephens by giving him cringe-worthy scenes this last episode. Writers rule.
