I can't see Mary with Tom at all. She is too much her father's daughter. She has none of the willingness to challenge convention that Sybil had, and she's never been anything more than properly courteous to Tom. And he has never shown a lick of interest in her. I can see them becoming friends, sharing grief and a concern for the family. But if the show brings them together as a couple, I shall cry "Foul!" No way those two get, or belong, together.
